Keyword Marketing - Attracting Visitors To Your Business With Keywords
When trying to attract visitors to their business online, many marketers are turning to keyword marketing. Keyword marketing is a free method of advertising and highly effective. If done correctly, it can soar any website, blog, article or other type of business website right to the top of the search engines. It is when you reach the first page of these search engines that you will receive a ton of traffic. Best of all, it’s free and costs nothing but your time. Below you will find how to find keywords and include them in your content so your business website can hit first page on any search engine.
Keyword Research
First, you need to find your keywords. Go to Google Keyword Tool and plug in any keyword within your niche. Type in the captcha code and click go. You should be displayed with a list of long tailed keyword alternatives. Choose the keywords that have at least 500 monthly searches.
Google Search
Next, go to Google and plug each one of your chosen long tailed keywords (one at a time of course) into the Google search box with quotes around them. On the top right hand side you should be presented with the amount of competitors that are competing against this keyword. Your goal is to find keywords with 50,000 or less competitors for optimal results.
Include in your content
Now that you have found your long tailed keywords that have at least 500 monthly searches and lower than 50,000 other competitors, optimize your business website, blogs, articles, etc. with these keywords. Be sure to include the keywords in your titles, first paragraph of your content, body of your content, last paragraph of your content and website URL if at all possible. For business websites, be sure to use keywords in your meta tags, title, description and keyword tags and include on each page of your site.
